Sexy Halloween Costumes - Sponsored Post

Are these hot Halloween costumes sexy or skanky? Seductive Halloween costumes definitely have Venusity.  What will you dare to do for Halloween?  Check out what these ladies are willing to wear for fun and chills http://bit.ly/aS8VVe

This year we're fortunate enough to be the Coolest House on the Block thanks to SheSpeaks magazine and Snickers and Mars candy.  We get to try the latest new Snickers that won't be released until this winter!  (I must tell you we could not hold out until Halloween and they are absolutely delicious.  Pictures of the cool decorations and Snickers fun will be posted throughout the end of this week in anticipation of Halloween Eve and Halloween.  Spooky surprises to come!)

I will be a witch this year.  I found a femininely frightening cape at CVS.  The ombre cape is black with a hood and red around the bottom.  A black outfit with lace and red nails with black tips finish the ensemble.

Best of all, the cape was only $9.99 and I had a coupon for $5 off my purchase so it only cost $4.99 plus tax.  That's Venusity and frugality!  Who says you can't have both?  Always remember to scan your CVS card for those printable coupons before shopping - that's how I saved more money.

Did you know Victoria's Secret is selling racy Halloween costumes with all their fabulous signature touches?  For a few more bucks, you can really heat up Halloween night.

Are you prepared to put together a sexy Halloween costume?  A hot yet affordable costume could be worth your while.  With Halloween parties, parades and contests on Saturday night, you might wind up winning big for your costume creation.  There's nothing scary about that!

Tune in for more about the mysterious new Snickers Peanut Butter Squared...mu, ha, ha, ha...

TreeLiving Launch - Sponsored Post

Treeliving.com Planting the seeds for a better future! Improving the world starts with just one click... http://www.mylike.treeliving.com/

Going green definitely has Venusity.  Protecting the future of the world for our children and grandchildren is the only way to go.  One of the biggest problems with going green is where to start.  Treeliving is a website offering practical tips about environmental efforts and how you can make positive changes.

Plant your own garden or grow herbs in the kitchen.  Turn off lights when not in use.  Walk to the store instead of driving (it's great exercise, too!)  Make sure your home has insulation and thermal windows to stay temperature controlled without using more energy.  Consider alternative forms of energy and fuel.

Each person makes a difference when they go green.  The combined efforts of many individuals can really change the world!  What are you waiting for?

Rachael Leigh Cook Gets Real About Airbrushing

Rachael Leigh Cook, sensational celebrity actress and model, doesn't agree with airbrushing.  She supports "real" beauty, especially in light of how young women are affected by the media.  Frankly, that takes major Venusity!
LOS ANGELES, CA - MAY 08: Actress Rachel Leigh Cook attends the 17th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women on May 8, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Valerie Macon/Getty Images)
Recently Rachael Lee Cook joined Oscar-winning actress Geena Davis at the 2010 Healthy Media for Youth Summit in Washington DC for The Creative Coalition and the Girl Scouts of the USA.  The summit addressed body image issues for girls.  As a former Girl Scout, I am impressed by their ability to zoom in on current issues to help young women develop healthier perspectives.

Cook told Fox News she thinks it is an absolute travesty that young woman see what the media feeds them, saying, "It breaks my heart to be part of an industry and part of a machine that really pushes out these images and propagates these terrible standards that are false.  Nothing that you see is real, even if you look at what looks like a candid photo of someone, anything cam be done.  It is false advertising and false advertising is a crime, so why isn't this a crime?  I'm just up in arms about it.

Rachael Leigh Cook makes two important points.  First of all, false images of women make young girls try to achieve an impossible and unhealthy standard.  Secondly, false advertising is allowed to run rampant today.  We need to infuse more truth into the media and stop buying into the lies...both literally and figuratively.
